Hi, I’m Emily!
I am a thirty-something living in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with my husband, Jake, and my son, Giaco, both of whom have really great hair. I have a photography degree and over a decade of experience photographing people and places. I am continually blown away by the power of pretty light.
Since becoming a parent a few years ago, I have a newfound appreciation for the beauty that comes with the banal; a little diapered body “helping” to make the bed, the haphazard wildflower bouquet on the kitchen table next to the legos and piles of scrap paper.
There is a gorgeous honesty in the disheveled nature of the everyday and I find immense joy and meaning in capturing this honesty with my camera.
